This is regarding a job opening for the position of " WEB PRODUCTION ENGINEER " with a leading MNC Job Summary   :               The Web Production IT Engineer manages and maintains Portal information systems. He/She also supports the platform development . II. Functional Accountabilities / Results for the Division 1.       Duties •         manages and maintains the information system infrastructure •         proactively analyzes systems performances and forecasts systems trend in order to guarantee an agreed SLA •         responds and intervenes to tickets assigned to him/her •         intervenes in case of system outages •         performs daily maintenance •         documents interventions and reports daily activity   2.       Working Group •         Member of a working group within the Web Production IT Group •         Works on generic problems defined in the working group   III. Operational/Job Specific Competencies (Knowledge and Skills)   •       Has strong knowledge of Linux OS •       Has good knowledge of networking at server level •       Has good knowledge of load balancing and proxy (Apache, Nginx) •       Has good knowledge of most common scripting languages (Python, Bash) •       Has good knowledge of most common web and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss) •       Has knowledge of firewall management •       Has knowledge of integrated maintenance tools (Zabbix, Elastic Search LogStash, Kibana) •       Has knowledge of configuration manager suite (Puppet) •       Has knowledge of databases and SQL (MySQL) •       Has knowledge of machine virtualization under Cloud environment (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) •       Has knowledge of distributed architectures •       Has knowledge of OpenLDAP •       Works extremely well in a team setting, fosters cooperation •       Highly motivated and self-driven •       Demonstrates relentless pursuit of results; ability to recognize what delivers success and adjust methods accordingly; multitasking capability; ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines   IV.
