Description:
An experienced functional analyst who is proficient in Oracle modules with strong finance knowledge in order to support analysis, design, development and testing activities.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 1 support for business applications and assist in technical troubleshooting with Oracle Financial systems, Replicon Web Timesheet, Concur Expense, Business Objects and other tools
* Support the Finance end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members
* Create SQL statements to run queries and research issues
* Interface file management
* Assist with the integrated design, build, test and deploy phases of Oracle E-Business Suite modifications and upgrades to ensure that all financial transactions are being appropriately tracked and accounted
* Interact with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all ERP related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions
* Test or lead testing initiatives in connection with the rollout of new or enhanced solutions
* Assist with the ongoing maintenance, enhancement and support of reporting needs through Business Objects and other tools
* Monitor daily interfaces to ensure files post successfully and troubleshoot and correct errors as appropriate
* Assist with implementation of operational process improvements and process documentation
* Champion data integrity via business process enhancements, user education, and other control mechanisms
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Information Systems or Finance preferred
* Experience with Oracle Financials modules is a MUST (Oracle AP, AR, GL, and PA); understands the technical side of modules as well as the functional requirements
* Experience in gathering/defining system requirements, designing, implementing, and testing business solutions
* Ability to understand Accounting Flows and work with Finance/Accounting teams to execute on functional requirement specifications in a customer service orientation
* Global Experience (Multi-Org, Multi-Entity, Multi-Currency, Multi-Country)
* Experience in working with transactional data using tools such as Toad, SQL Developer, etc. and in working with Oracle databases
* Strong familiarity with testing methodology and ability to lead testing initiatives
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to end users and technical staff
* Exceptional ability to multi-task, respond with a sense of urgency, and reprioritize in order to effectively support the business
* Must be able to work independently, possess strong organizational and analytical skills, and be part of a team in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
* Able to perform independently in a production support environment
