Job Description:
Require Data Warehouse Principal Consultant with strong technology skills & a knack for functional insights into business processes to join its Global IT team @ Pune.
Role & responsibilities
o Responsible for the development & support of the Companys BI & Reporting platforms across Oracle BI, Oracle Financial Analytics, QlikView through analysis, design, development, customization, testing & implementation phases
o Deliver on project-oriented BI work to facilitate operational, analytical, dashboards & ad hoc reporting requests, enhancements etc.
Qualification BE & Equivalent
Relevant Experience - 6 to 15 Years
Proven Skill Areas
o End to-end OBIEE, BI Architecture, BI Applications (OBIA) and ODI implementation & support
o OBIEE 11g Data Modeling, Development along with OBIA Architecture, Security Implementation
o OBIEE & ODI Deployment, Release Management & essential Administration experience
o ODI 11 / 12 C ETL Development expertise along with the OBIA Architecture.
- ODI Operator usage for monitoring and troubleshooting
- ODI Release Management
- Knowledge about Scenarios, Knowledge Modules and ODI Designer
o Web Catalog Management and Administration
o Designing and development of the three layers (Physical/ Business Model and Mapping / Presentation) of an OBIEE Metadata Repository (.rpd) using Oracle BI Administration Tool
o Experience in working with ETL on Oracle EBS suite and other flat files as the source system BI and DWH Architectural Solution Definition
o Developing mappings/ interfaces, packages, procedures and scheduled jobs
o Strong programming skills in SQL & Oracle PL/SQL, writing & maintaining complex queries, Stored Procedures
o Technical &/or Functional knowledge in any of the Oracle EBS financial modules, Revenue Accounting
o Prior implementation experience of OBIA11.x on EBS R12
o Exposure to Production Support
o Experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of maturity in complex dashboard and report development
o Experience in designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting, maps, etc.)
o Thorough understanding and proven experience in ETL methodologies, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing principles, approaches, technologies, and architectures including the concepts, designs and usage of data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores.
o Transforming individual subject areas into a cohesive data mart by skill fully utilizing, extending, and integrating components of the OBIEE Metadata Repository.
o Star Schema Design & Data warehouse Standards Knowledge as applicable to Oracle BI Systems.
o Developing Dimensional Hierarchies, Level Based Measures, and adding multiple sources to business model objects.
o Experience of hand holding with third party vendors & working closely with business/end users on a day to day basis
Good to have skills / Definite Plus
Any Industry Standard Certifications on Data warehousing
QlikView Exposure
EBS based reporting experience for AP, AR, GL, PO, PA modules (understanding of tables, joins, etc.) & Revenue Recognition
