About the Job
Software Engineer within a team of Oracle database and Oracle E-Business Suite developers. Candidate will possess strong communication skills needed to translate complex business requirements into technical design, implementation and deployment packages. Qualified candidates will be well versed in all phases of the SDLC and are adept at playing multiple roles. Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Candidate should have solid technical and functional knowledge on Oracle E-Business Suite Finance module.
* Maintain a Software Development Life Cycle framework while providing significant contributions in design and deliverable definition.
* Design and execute on deliverables after being presented with business requirements. Prepare technical/functional requirements.
* Peer review technical designs to confirm business requirements have been met.
* Prepare appropriate documentation regarding Unit and System tests as well as any other Sarbanes-Oxley related evidence.
* Communicate project status and issues to engineering manager/project manager.
* Experience working in a service environment; providing direct support for the software and systems you develop.
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Overall Experience: 5-7 years or equivalent experience
* Required: Direct development experience in Oracle E-Business Suite(EBS) 11.5.10 or later.
* Required: 5+ years experience in Oracle EBS development of RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Extensions and Workflows) components.
* Required: Experience developing extensions, personalizations and customizations using OA Framework.
* Required: Experience working with Oracle EBS APIs, Open Interfaces and overall design of AP, AR, PO, GL, FA, I-Expenses, I-Procurement, AOL and FND
* Required: Sound Knowledge of Developer oriented System Administrator Module, Application Developer Module, XML Publisher Administrator Module and Oracle Alerts.
* Required: Sound Knowledge of Oracle Workflow and Java/Object Oriented Programming.
* Required: Proficient with UNIX and Shell Scripting
* Proficient with Oracle SQL/PLSQL Programming and using AOL packages and libraries
* Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems.
* Must be fully conversant with all objects in the Oracle EBS schema and the relationships between them and should be able to map EBS business processes to the underlying tables. Will be working closely with the data warehouse to provide solution for Finance information requirements requested of the data warehouse group.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
* Experience with R12 version
* Experience with Forms Personalization and development using CUSTOM.PLL
* Experience on modules related to EBS HRMS is preferred.
* Oracle Database 10 G or higher
* Experience on SQL Loader, User Hooks and DataPump
* Perl scripting, Perl concurrent programs, SSH, SCP, PGP Encryption
* Source code control software
* Experience with tuning SQL code. Oracle trace facilities etc.
* Oracle E-Business Suite: SQL Reports, Forms, and BI Publisher
