REQUIREMENT: Project Overview (IFS SSS): Integrated Financial System (IFS) is the financial application system for legacy PacifiCare. It supports PHS segment finance business areas for payment management (claim, capitation, pharmacy), receivables management, financial reporting and analysis. IFS is an ERP financial application suite based on Oracle e-business (11.5.10), Bottomline (payment processing), Markview (Imaging), Noetix reporting. . IFS - Transactions AR Transactions in IFS - average of 80,000 transactions coming in from multiple sources per month amounting to $2B for processing in IFS AP Payments made in IFS - average of 150,000 checks sent out to providers from IFS averaging of $1.7B on a monthly basis Primary responsibilities: * Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Identify and design most efficient and cost effective solution through research and evaluation of alternatives. * Participate in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision * Provides team leadership in areas of specific technical knowledge that is frequently sought out by others with significant experience in a single, complex development environment or across multiple platforms. * Ensure timely deliveries as per SLA * Develops innovative approaches. * Strong experience with AR, AP, GL and CM modules of Oracle financial application * Reviews the work of others. * Independent communication with business partners to resolve issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines. * Conduct/Own root cause analysis on all incidents and recommend a corrective action plan. * Document suggestions for continuous process improvements for both OM and development activities. * Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor * Adherence to the defined delivery process/guidelines (SLA Compliance etc) * Adherence to the defined OM delivery process/guidelines (SLA Compliance etc). * Coordinating Oracle financial strategies with other areas to ensure consistency across the enterprise * Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices * Guiding, training, instructing and assisting others on a variety of technical issues * Creating effort/duration estimates and deliverable lists for proposed projects. * Help team members in technical problem of data stage, Unix and Oracle.
