Key Activities & Accountabilities The main activities of the Oracle ERP Developer are to analyze and resolve problems, provide op-timally tuned, maintainable technical solution and test and implement solutions as follows: Monitor • Monitor defects in queue and progress and prioritise as necessary to meet Service Level Agreements Analyse and Resolve • Liaise with DBAs and/or Functional Analysts, if required, to ensure accurate problem definition • Provide codefixes or datafixes as per the problem definition in the defect or functional design document. • Use Metalink to investigate issues and review bugs and patches as required. • Create and migrate setup changes such as Module Configurations, Profile Options, Menus, and Responsibilities etc… • Create and maintain technical components and follow development standards and processes as defined by the division. • Should be self motivated and learn new and upcoming technologies. • Analyze problem definition and create a technical solution to meet performance standards. Test and Implement • Test solutions in relevant test environments prior to the testing by functional analysts. • Explain solution to functional team and DBAs as required Communicate • Liaise with Super-user, Support team, other functional and technical support teams and external vendors (Oracle) throughout the process from problem definition to resolution and implementation in Production. • Manage interactions, record progress and document detailed resolution details in the ITG/CMDB sys-tem. Travel requirements • Based in SGTC, travel to other Stryker sites as required Education ï± BE/B-Tech/BSc Degree in IT/ME/M-Tech/MCA ï± Languages: English essential, others are a plus Experience (5-8 years) ï± At least 5 years experience in an Oracle ERP support environment. ï± Previous experience working with Oracle e-Business Suite working on a off-shore support environment ï± Previous experience of at least 5 years in Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow and XML Publisher, OAF. ï± Should be aware of the data-model of the any 3 modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, INV, BOM, WIP, OM, PO, Distribution, PA. ï± Ability to configure the Oracle modules being supported and perform Sysadmin functions such as Menus, Responsibilities, Concurrent requests and Request Groups ï± Experience on R12 will be an added advantage.
