Job Description
Candidate will be deputed to client place ( US Based MNC ). The company was founded in 1980 and it employs around 4,500 people worldwide.
SUMMARY:
This Oracle Applications Developer will collaborate proactively with functional analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. This position will code, unit test, implement and support these enterprise application solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application. This candidate will be working in a Matrix management environment reporting to both On-site and Off-shore managers.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1. Responsible for design, coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects
2. Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution
3. Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team
4. Enhance performance in the Applications environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes were needed.
5. Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards
6. Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
Skills Required:
* Minimum 4 years of experience and expertise in Oracle ERP applications and Oracle SOA.
* Experience in onsite/offshore model is preferred
* Excellent technical skills with
o PL/SQL, SQL
o Solid experience with Oracle SOA BPEL, ESB and ODI
o AOL
o Oracle Applications Framework(OAF) is a Plus
o MS Project, Visio
* Perfect understanding concepts of relational databases and database objects
* Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
* Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle Application API"s
* Experience with global implementations of Oracle Applications

Experience required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle SOA development and 2 years in ERP Oracle applications implementation.
