Job Description: Test Analyst - HRMS
The job involves testing the functionalities/process flows/interfaces developed on Oracle E-Business to cater PTP Programme Requirement. The perspective candidate should have experience in Oracle E-Business Suite which includes specifics like creating Employees, defining and attaching benefits, Termination process, OTL , Oracle Workflow, Payroll Run process, Year-End Process . Experience required in the following Oracle Apps modules - HRMS, CWB,OTL,OAB,Payroll
Duties will include :*
Overall Objectives:
* To develop, execute and maintain the test scripts in line with the agreed Test Approach and Test Plans.
* To support the Test Manager/Test Lead in providing timely and accurate information on the quality of systems delivered.
Main Responsibilities:
* To gain a comprehensive understanding of the system being developed/used at JLP from the support and user viewpoint.
* To perform verification activities of deliverables for all phases of the project in accordance with the Test Plan.
* Analysis of project documentation and extraction of requirements, system functions and other features that need to be tested.
* Analysis of Business Process documentation and definition of Business Test Scenarios.
* Develop test conditions, test scenarios and test scripts, in line with the agreed quality standards, which test that the requirements/process have been met.
* Derive Test condition based on UK Statutory requirement
* Execution of the test scripts in the manner specified by the appropriate Test Plan.
* Recording of the actual test results against the expected results in Quality Centre and retaining for future reference.
* To find and raise defects, in accordance with the Defect Management procedures, and track through to satisfactory resolution.
* Perform regression testing following defect fixing.
* Utilise techniques and best practice, following the standard testing procedures and guidelines.
* Report progress to the Test Manager as required.
* Liase with other teams, external contacts as required.
* Consider configuration management processes in support of testing processes*
* Work together with the business in developing their test scenarios and the development team
* Should be flexible in working.
Skill Proficiency (learner, experienced, proficient)
Oracle E-business Suite 11i (Core HR, Selfservice, OAB,OTL,Payroll) A minimum of 5 years experience required - Proficient
Oracle E-business Suite 11i (CWB,Payroll) 1 year - experienced
SQL 1 year - experienced
UK statutory requirements 1year - experienced (Nice to have)( Not Mandatory)
Quality centre 3 years - Proficient(Nice to have)
Working knowledge of Unix operating system and file management 1 Year - Experienced
Testing Fundamentals and lifecycle 3-5 years - Proficient
Qualifications & certifications:
ISEB Foundation certification in testing would be desirable
Should have previous consultancy experience .
