Qualification : BE/B tech/ MCA OR Equivalent.
1). Position-Oracle Developer
Technical knowledge
Good Oracle database experience/exposure
Good development skills in PL/SQL on UNIX, with demonstrated application
design & coding experience
Good UNIX/PERL development skills in with demonstrated experience
Adhere to coding standards & checklists
End-to-end solution delivery, from analysis, design to implementation,
which will include documentation, testing and co-ordination within the rest
of the team.
Use of Rational workflow & source control configuration Subversion/Jira
tools.
Preparation of technical documentation where required including Technical
Specifications and Unit Test Plans.
Adhere to coding standards & checklists
Able to work with the business to confirm requirements and agree a concise
set of requirements, an estimate and design
Personal Attributes:
Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional
standards
Flexible and responsive work style
Extensive communication on a business and technical level will be required
to internal stakeholders
Strong Analytical and problem-solving techniques.

Supplementary Skills: (Nice-to-have skills)
Experience of Subversion, Jira or similar tools.
Experience working with batches. Autosys knowledge preferable.
Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) would be an advantage.
Any experience with Java, MANTAS Trade Compliance or Apache Ant would be an
advantage.
Experience of Credit or Market Risk within a major investment bank
Good Microsoft technology experience
Experience:
Overall experience of 4 - 6 years out of which 4+ years experience in
Oracle PL/SQL on UNIX and 2+ years experience in PERL
Experience of working on UNIX platform and creating shell scripts
Understanding of system architecture, hardware and networks
Knowledge of Data warehousing would be an added advantage
2. Oracle/Unix Production support
Support Analyst
Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
4-5 years of experience in terms of providing technical support
Knowledge of SQL-PL/SQL, monitoring scripts, Autosys, Awk Programming ,.
Knowledge of stored procedures for reporting requests and support tasks.
Experience in handling support mail boxes,
Support tools like Remedy, Test Directors etc.,
Good knowledge of the various support processes -
User Interaction,
Communication Self sufficiency in terms of making decisions during crisis
situations
Strong communication and user support skills
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
* Exposure to Change management procedures within a large organisation
