Currently hiring for Lead/ Sr. Lead Engineer for a Leading MNC.

Essential Responsibilities -
An experienced Windows Software Engineer is needed to support technical and scientific application development and upgrades for configuration utility software for embedded life safety systems. New development is being done in C# using SQL Server Express and interfacing with embedded firmware and hardware is critical. Legacy software is to be reengineered into C# applications. The Software Engineer is a hands on position, you will participate in the entire software lifecycle. Requirements investigation, work break down structure and time estimation, design and code documentation and code reviews will be commonplace. Expertise, creativity and initiative are all expected of an engineer who fills this role. This is production software delivered as part of a hardware product.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Strong overall software development background with large-scale mixed software/hardware systems
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Windows development using VB.Net, C#, and in Visual Studio or equivalent
· A willingness to deal with the challenges of maintaining and converting a large legacy system.
· Minimum of 2-4 year of experience with SQL Server database design, installation, configuration, stored procedures, T-SQL or PL-SQL
· Minimum of 2-4 year of experience with test-driven development (unit testing using NUnit, JUnit, MSUnit, DUnit or equivalent).
· Knowledge of design patterns, Microsoft best practices, documentation guidelines, the use of interfaces and Injection of Control
· Ability to quickly and effectively research and determine unwritten requirements
· Experience with tiered, layered architectures, strong object-oriented thinking
· Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Desired Characteristics -
· Entity Framework, NHibernate or CSLA Experience
· WPF or Silverlight (not web only) UI design and code experience
· Proven ability to understand a complex legacy system and design new functionality
· Experience using code generation platforms
· Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
· Experience in internationalization of Windows applications
· Willingness to work evenings or flexible hours
Qualification-BE/ B.Tech /MCA/M.E / M.Tech. /MSc.
