Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
· This person will be responsible for developing new applications and/or modifying and enhancing existing applications using the various Oracle development tools
· Experience should include the development of Oracle software for the purpose of data conversion, interfaces, custom reports and forms using the Oracle Development tool set
· This person must be able to produce quality technical specifications and software and able to perform and document test and validation procedures
· This position will also be responsible for supporting multiple modules within the corporate Oracle E-Business suite
· Position will require interacting with offshore teams
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· This position will require good communications skills and ability to work effectively as part of a large project team
Knowledge/Skills:
· SQL and PLSQL, Oracle Forms, Reports and JDeveloper , AOL (Oracle application Object Library), Scripting
· 5 + years experience in an Oracle Application development environment resolving issues on the Oracle Application side as well as the database component of it.
· Experience using Oracle Applications: GL (General Ledger), AP (Accounts Payable), FA (Fixed Assets), PA (Project Accounting), AR (Accounts Receivable), OCO (Oracle Customers Online), Inventory, Order Management
· Understand system development life cycle processes
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Additional skills preferred:
· Design and implementation using Java, J2EE, in an Oracle and Linux based environment will be a plus.
· Knowledge in Advanced Collections, iReceivables, iPayment will be a plus.
