Job description – Oracle Financial Business Analyst Skills required • Deep Oracle EBS functional knowledge with emphasis on the following : • Implementation experience of the following Oracle modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets,, Cash Management, • Experience of Release 12 essential. • An accounting qualification is preferred, however, part qualified applications will be considered. • Detailed working knowledge of the core Oracle Financials modules • Knowledge and experience of Implementation life cycle tasks, • Data Migration and Reporting experience, requiring some technical awareness (eg knowledge of data structures) • Effective presentation skills (solutions, designs etc) • Excellent client facing skills • Ability to document clearly and accurately throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. • Ability to assess current business process and application landscape, elicit business requirements, evaluate solutions and propose and manage system improvements. Experience • Demonstrate experience of multiple Oracle implementations – full lifecycles. • Demonstrate experience of working a large organization with high volumes of transactions and data. • Demonstrate experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from senior management to technical experts to managing the relationship with vendor representatives. • Demonstrate experience of designing and implementing system improvements. Job description – Oracle HCM Business Analyst Job Summary: The Oracle HCM Business Analyst works on a variety of projects and initiatives to support, maintain and improve Emirates Group Enterprise applications. The individual swiftly develops a clear understanding of relevant application functionality inside and outside ERP (that interacts with ERP), business processes, policies and compliance requirements. This role will serve as a liaison between IT and Operations, ensuring that system functionality meets the needs of all impacted user groups. Essential Responsibilities: • Collaborate with a team of business analysts, programmers and users throughout most phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements definition, analysis, solution design, configuration, development, testing, implementation and ongoing production support and maintenance • Meet frequently with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, identify current business process challenges and determine gaps with the delivered applications • Assist in the creation of functional project documentation including detailed process flow diagrams, functional design specifications, test scripts, user guides and training materials • Perform / Assist throughout the system testing for all changes (new functionality, enhancements, bug fixes and patches) to ensure data integrity and verify that business requirements are met • Provide production support for existing functionality; investigate and troubleshoot system issues; identify root causes; determine and document solutions with the help of EKG IT team. Skills & Experience • Strong Oracle Applications functional analyst that has prior experience with HCM modules in E-Business Suite (Self-Service, Core HR, Payroll, Oracle Learning Management and Time & Attendance). • The candidate should have strong experience in working with the business users to gather the requirements, analyze and provide solutions on issues related to HR modules, suggestions on best practices and ability to handle the functional setups. • Experience of working on multiple Oracle implementations – full lifecycle implementations. • Experience of working a large organization with high volumes of transactions, customizations, custom applications and data. • Ability to assess current business process and application landscape, elicit business requirements, evaluate solutions and propose and manage system improvements. • Proficient with tools used to support Oracle Application development and other BA tools & Methodologies. • Strong documentation skills, communication skills and customer focused approach. • An effective communicator with the ability to work well with multiple teams inside and outside of the IT department and individuals to complete assigned work. • Must have the ability to articulate ideas, written and verbal, to technical and non- technical internal and external professionals.
