We have an excellent job opportunity with MNC IT GIANT AUTOMATION GROUP OF COMPANIES for the below requirement: POSITION Job Title: R&D Engineer /Sr. R&D Engineer Function: Research & Development YOE: 3-7 YRS Location: Vadodara MISSION The R&D Engineer/Sr. Engineer is responsible for the success of all assigned projects and works within a cross-functional team across the organization to provide support to key R & D projects. The candidate is expected to collaborate with different teams in India & Europe Roles and Responsibility * Design and development of switchgear products * Analytical calculations * Development of 3D modelsof the concept designs * Creation of 2D drawings with GD & T * Use of six sigma tools like QFD / DOE/ FMEA in the projects * Coordination with cross functional team (Shop floor, in-house laboratories etc) * Prototype development and type testing * Identify potential issues / perform detailed analysis to determine failure root cause, and implement appropriate solutions Desired Profile * B.E/M.E. (Mechanical) * Product Design & development (3 to 8 years) * Experience in design & development of switchgear (MV/HV) * Working knowledge of IEC standardsand type testing * Working knowledge of analytical calculations using FEA tools * Working knowledge of six sigma tools like QFD / DOE/ FMEA / DFR etc * Working knowledge of Pro-E or other CAD software * Experience in creation of 2D drawings with GD & T * Manufacturing knowledge (casting, machining, sheet metal & plastic parts etc) * Knowledge of Material and standards * Knowledge of PDM system will be an added advantage * Innovative thinking, holding any patents will be an added advantage.
