JOB DESCRIPTION:
Java developer resources should have experience in internet and mobile
Technology and meet the following required and preferred skills:
Required:
* Diverse design, programming, and testing experience using Java And JEE technologies.
* Developing applications from conception through implementation,
including the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
phases of a software development project that include Web and SOA
application design, data architecture, integration and visual design.
* IBM WebSphere Application Server; including usage of JTA, JMS,
JNDI, JPA, EJB, JDBC, JSP and JAAS
* Standards-compliant client side code and components for projects
with JavaScript, DHTML (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and AJAX toolkits.
* Object oriented programming (Java, Jython),
* SQL and relational databases, including Object/Relational
database design using WebSphere OpenJPA and DB2.
* SOA, Web Services, XML, Message Queuing
* JAX-RPC, JAX-RS and JAX-WS Web Service standards as implemented within WebSphere Application Server and the Apache Axis framework
* HTTP/S and JMS WS transport protocols
* WS messaging level protocols; including SOAP, REST, MTOM, and
XML (including XSL and XPath)
* WS-Security standards as implemented in WebSphere Application
Server and Apache Axis
* WS description level standards; including WSDL, UDDI
* IBM Rational Software Development Platform, including IBM Rational ClearCase UCM, ClearQuest, Rational Software Architect and Rational BuildForge
* UNIX Shell programming, scripting (BSH, KSH), especially development in a UNIX environment (AIX/Linux).
Preferred:
* IBM or Oracle Java/JEE Certification
* Development using the ABSA JEE Application Development Framework
* Banking industry
* Application Integration across multiple domains
* IBM WebSphere Compute Grid (WCG) technology
* Eclipse Business Intelligence Reporting Toolkit
* IBM WebSphere Extreme Scale
* IBM Datapower XC10 Caching Appliance
