JOB DISCRIPTION:
MISSION
The Design Engineer/Sr. Design Engineer is responsible for the success of all assigned projects and works within a cross-functional team across the organization to provide support to key R & D projects.
The candidate is expected to collaborate with different teams in India & Europe
Roles and Responsibility
* Pro-E (Part & Assembly)
* Development of concept design with cross-functional team.
* Development of 3D models from finalized concept or existing similar designs.
* Creation of 2D drawings with GD & T
* Basic engineering calculations
* Identify potential assembly issues (interference,tolerancesetc
* Working on PDM system, releasing drawings for approval etc
Desired Profile
* B.E (Mechanical)
* Product Design & development (2 to 6 years)
* Working knowledge of Pro-E or other CAD software
* Experience in creation of 2D drawings with GD & T
* Manufacturing knowledge of Castings ,Machining, Sheetmetal & Plastic parts
* Experience in design & development of switchgear will be an added advantage
* Knowledge of PDM system will be an added advantage
* Knowledge of standards (IEC, ISO, EN, IS) will be an added advantage
