Primary Skill: Oracle application development, Database tuning and optimization
***** We need an “application developer” with experience in using Oracle 11g as the backend (i.e. no need for front-end experience).
JD:
• 5+ years Oracle application development (PLSQL), implementation and support experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands on experience in Oracle 11g environment
• Experience in large (2+ TB) database tuning and optimization
• Experience with UNIX and Autosys (Not Mandatory)
• Experience in on-call duties and outage coordination
• Acted as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting.
• Provided technical consultation and support for computer applications and programs.
• Analyzed business requirements, designed and wrote technical specifications to create or redesign computer solutions.
• Developed original and/or complex code or provided coding guidance to less experienced staff.
• Verified program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
• Used source control, automated compilers and deployment tools. Lead the migration of applications to production.
• Developed new documentation, participated in the development of department technical procedures and helped design user guides.
• Provided guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
• Assured quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.
• Excellent Communication and Interaction Skills
