Job Description: OBI Lead Developer

OBI Lead Developer
Requirements Analysis:
1. Attend client call to understand new requirements
2. Assist client to capture requirements and scope in MD50
3. Explore existing OBI Warehouse and provide quick prototype
4. Prepare detailed Estimate and collaborate to get approval
Design / Solution:
5. Prepare or help the team to prepare detailed design document MD70
6. Review the RPD and Catalogue design
Development:
7. Review the interim design, test cases and code; ensure conformance with the MD50 and MD70
8. Final review and physical sign off on the through Delivery Note
Deployment:
9. Ensure that deployment checklists are in place (Review work)
10. Collaborate and provide necessary support to the deployment team.
Project Management:
11. Collaborate with team members to arrive at detailed WBS
12. Collaborate with PM to prepare detailed WBS
13. Monitor, track and report work status through WSR - Weekly Status Report
14. Assist PM to set periodic goals for the team members and then assess during appraisal cycles
15. Help create reusable components and solution.
16. Help capture best practices and case study from the current project
Qualifications:
* Preferably Computer Science / Information Technology graduate having BI DW and OBI Training
* At least 3-6 years of experience OBI Implementation
* 5 to 14 years overall BI DW experience (Reports, Dashboards, ETL, DWH Design)
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of best practices in OBI Implementation, support and Maintenance
* Demonstrated strategic thinking, understanding of business and execution excellence
* Strong capability in project documentation and formal communication across various stakeholders
* Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills
* Exposure to project management tools, ticketing systems will be an advantage
