Role: Business System Analyst
Location:Bangalore
Experience and Responsibilities:
7+ years of strong business process knowledge in Order to Cash, Service Contracts Renewals and 5+ years of implementing Oracle ERP applications.
Strong hands on experience in configuration, setup of Oracle ERP applications in Order Management, Service Contracts and Install Base modules.Â
Education: 4-year degree (minimum) in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with strong presentation skills.
Experience in influencing large teams in a matrix managed environment; demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT and business unit organizations.
Understanding of project/program management principles, SDLC processes, with explicit experience in the application of these principles to IT applications environments.
Ability to analyze issues makes recommendations and solve problems.
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business and operations requirements and systems goals.
Identify, modify and implement business systems to meet user needs in the areas of Customer Management, Service Contract and Install Base functions.
Work on advanced business systems projects that require complex analysis and requirements definition for applications that automate and integrate business processes.
Understand and document business processes comparing against capabilities within Oracle EBS and CRM Applications. Analyze gap between processes and systems, provide recommendation to process owners.
Facilitate and lead meetings with process owners, drive decisions using process analysis, process flow and other techniques that will help in arriving at an optimized solution.
Work closely with development team through software development methodology, including project assessment, planning, design, build, QA and implementation.
Review business requirements document, write functional requirements document; prepare process flow diagrams, high level use and test cases for review with development and QA.
Develop wireframes and visual prototypes
Configure Oracle EBS or other systems supporting back-office processes. Perform unit testing of developed functionality as needed. Facilitate and conduct testing cycle with business, support the go-live cut over process.
Conduct end user training, prepare user documentation as needed.
Work with offshore teams as Projects demand.
Lead and manage projects as needed.
