Overall responsibility:
The primary responsibility of this position will be conducting application instance acceptance testing (IAT) for Emerson Process Management (EPM) in the Oracle Applications Global Instance. IAT testing is related to, but not limited to, EPM division project implementations, which occur on a monthly basis. Participation in other functional testing requirements will be related to EPM PMO project implementations, patch migrations and support break/fix migrations. The secondary responsibility of this position will be to work with other members of the Performance Tuning Team (PERF) and the Application Support Group (ASG) functional teams to work on support tickets assigned. This position requires expert knowledge of the Oracle MFG modules, skills in Problem Investigation, Problem Resolution, Application Testing and Communication.
Skills & Experience Required:
Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Oracle Applications modules in
Release 11i:
1-Bills of Material (BOM), Costing, Quality, Inventory (INV), Work In Process (WIP), Engineering (ENGG), Advanced Product Catalog (APC), ASCP knowledge will be an added advantage
2- 5-7 years experience with Oracle ERP, at least 3+years of experience with Oracle 11i E-Business Suite in a Global Manufacturing environment.
3- Working knowledge of Oracle Configurations/Setups for 11i E-Business Suite: functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields, functional module interfaces.
4- Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end users and management. Define future business processes around Oracle MFG modules.
5- Experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications
6-Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle
7-Self Motivated I Team player
8- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
9- Must be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
10- Ability to work in a demanding user environment
