Currently we have an urgent Requirement for Microstrategy OBIEE Developer with one of our leading MNC Client, location based in Chennai Job Title : Microstrategy / OBIEE Developer Job Location : Chennai Mode : Permanent Position with Client About Client : A CMMi Level 5 Specialized IT Services Company, with Operations running across Globe, Providing Software Solutions to Various Key Industrial Verticals Salary : Negotiable Job Description: * 7 years of IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in the application domain of on-line analytical processing systems (OLAP), of which 3 years in Developer in the requested role. * Minimum 5 yrs in OBIEE, Microstrategy, Data Model Design, SOA * Demonstrable competences in the role are very desirable. These include Architectural analysis, including definition of a candidate architecture for the system and of the architectural patterns, key mechanisms and modelling conventions of the system in line with the team Information and Communication Technology Standards * Design and conduct architectural proofs-of-concept and prototypes; Define the ETL integration method with the transactional systems * Define the reporting architecture Define the ETL architecture and processes * Design the data model - Normal Form 3 (NF3) or dimensional model (star schemas, OLAP cubes) * Tune the ETL code / Reporting queries, Optimise DDL and DML Codes. * Production of the relevant technical documentation, such as system designs, data model designs etc and documentation for the support team; * Capacity to assist with the evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers to ensure that they conform to requirements and technical standards; * Estimation and prioritisation of work packages and project plans; * Definition and maintenance of a software development methodology including standards and quality aspects.
