Job Description:
Role: Data Migration Lead
Responsibilities:
* Work directly with business to understand and gather Application Data Migration/Conversion requirements
* Analyse the source applications/systems and source data
* Prepare Data Migration and Cleansing strategy and plan
* Perform Data Profiling and Data Mapping
* Design Data Migration and Reconciliation processes
* Guide the team to develop the above processes
Mandatory Skills:
* 6+ years of total experience in ETL and Oracle PL/SQL design and development
* Strong experience in Data Conversion Projects (application migrations, not DB migration or upgrades)
* Experience in Data Mapping, Data Analysis/Profiling and Cleansing
* Experience in working with disparate data sources - Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g and SQL Server
* Hands on Informatica ETL, SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
* Experience in Leading a small team
* Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
* Ability to communicate technical information in both written and verbal forms, with business and technical teams
Desired Skills:
* Exposure to Oracle Siebel
* Knowledge of Data Quality tools
* Unix/Linux shell scripting will be a plus
* Ability to understand Java/J2EE code will be a plus
