Responsibility
Lead WebCenter related admin activities across production, non-production, and DR environments in order to provide best practices recommendations and performance tuning at the server level.
Ensure that the technical environment is updated with current, stable versions of software products that comply with approved architecture and system standards
Perform engineering guidance to development team members and interfacing teams specific to the area of WebCenter Portal and UCM application and infrastructure design.
Deploy software changes into the application platform for multiple environments.
Establish monitoring procedures to ensure continuity and integrity
Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality
Write and maintain documentation to describe hardware infrastructure and maintain changes and corrections
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications, systems, and architecture
Conduct proactive/reactive performance monitoring / analysis to identify system errors and bottlenecks to assist in tuning WebLogic, WebCenter Content, WebCenter Portal
Plan, coordinate, test and implement installations / upgrades / releases of systems, software and hardware
