Job discription:
The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of specific Oracle products at XL. The incumbent should have the ability to understand XL current business processes, data lineage, accounting & reporting in the current financial system environment.Â
He/ She should have the ability to fully map requirements and integrate them into the final solution keeping in mind the product functional and technical capabilities.
He/ She should be technically competent in Oracle Application platform should have the ability to redesign the end to end process to enhance transparency and traceability of financial accounting and reporting data besides elimination of manual processes and workarounds.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
Leading and contributing to the execution of strategies for conversion of existing platforms to address relevant accounting and reporting needs;
Conducting requirements gathering and external/ internal research to transform the business requirements into future state business processes and implement on to new system architecture
Participating in the overall governance framework established to drive the large change across the Company.
Application of project management principles in leading the specific systems conversion.
Partnering with internal customers & stakeholders across the globe to manage the large change for the Company.
Working extensively with the technology teams and other business / project partners to coordinate end to end requirements, design, testing and deployment including change management associated with the initiative.
Partner with external consultants, when required to ensure efficient delivery of industry best practices.
Requirement:
Qualifications:
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation experience, specifically, managing a global Oracle implementation in the insurance/financial services realm throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
Oracle expertise especially across Oracle modules GL
Transformational approach to process efficiency and effectiveness. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, facilitation and presentation skills.
Project Management Certification, preferred
