Overall responsibility:
The primary responsibility will be to analyze the requested change for impact to the Oracle instances, in accordance with the change process and facilitate change to flow through the different instances. The analyst will review the technical and functional changes completed by Developers I Super Users to ensure that the changes are in accordance with the requirements and not impacting the Global Oracle E-Business solutions.
Review I Audit the changes moving to Test I Production Environment
Develop & Assist with Increasing Security & Gatekeeping for changes in global instances
Identify Gaps in the existing review process and develop solutions to address them
Review changes impacting UAT/FAT & Period close activities
Assist Support & Testing teams to identify Changes causing issues in Production & Test Environment
Mentor team members to perform configuration/code reviews
Identify high risk & frequently modified objects and monitor their movement through the instances
Perform Code Migrations I Manual Setups in restricted environments
Monitor High risk objects in controlled instances and work with Others to reduce code- conflicts
Skills & Experience Required:
Technical expertise and detailed understanding of Manufacturing Oracle Applications modules in Release
11i:
Development I Support experience and detailed understanding of the following Oracle tools in connection with Oracle Release 11i: SQL, PU SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Workflow, UNIX Shell Scripts, XML Publisher. SOA & Java Knowledge preferred but not mandatory
6-8 year experience in Oracle ERP, at least 4+ year Experience with Oracle 11i EBS in a Technical role. At least 3 years of experience in System Analysis & experience of SDLC in a Global User Environment Working knowledge of Oracle Configurations I setups for 11i E-Business Suite, functional module setups, profile options, flex- fields, and functional module interfaces.
Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate Technical changes to peers and management.
Ability to review technical design & code for adherence to standards & potential issues.
Ability to analyze the code for performance bottlenecks & suggest alternative solutions Ability to perform Design I Code Walkthrough with the developers to review the changes Ability to work with multiple teams and effectively present the change to the customer/s Ability to work independently to arrive at decisions/ recommendations.
Oracle ERP best practices & experience in various implementation methodology.
Knowledge of underlying Oracle Infrastructure and ERD Experience on Version control & deployment management tools Experience with understanding & interpreting requirement specifications.
Solid analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills.
Development of training material and application documentation as required. Customer service oriented with Offshore-onshore experience
Flexible schedule - some weekends and night shifts required during project critical phases
Ability to train and build a team of technical analysts.
Experience with RAPID suite for Configurations desired, but not mandatory.
Experience in Automation Code I Configuration validation tools desired, but not mandatory.

BE/ B. Tech/ MCA
Candidate should possess the degree from a recognized University/ Institution only
