Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Analyst
Finisar is looking for an Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Analyst to support Oracle E-Business Suite.
Job Duties:
* Responsible for analysis, design, implementation and testing of new or enhanced business systems (Oracle E-Business Suite) following all applicable standards.
* Responsible for gathering and document system requirements, including overview reporting, User Interface definition, logical system flow and implementation plans
* Detailed technical troubleshooting of day to day production issues.
* Application development, enhancements and maintenance of existing applications
* Participate in integrated system-level tests to comparing actual results with expected results
* Create and manage Service Requests with Oracle support organization as required in order to resolve Oracle issues.
* Investigate Oracle Applications technical issues to determine root cause of the problems and bug fixing.
* Prioritize and manage issues assigned within guidelines provided.
* Develop functional/technical specifications to address new business requirements.
Requirements:
* B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/MCA
* A proven techno- functional professional, with at least one full lifecycle Oracle E-Business Suite R12 implementation
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
* Able to interact with business users with clear written and verbal communication as well as writing requirements and test plan documents
* Extensive experience in implementation/development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, and testing.
* Extensive development knowledge & experience in forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and Workflows(FRICEW)
* Adept at designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions in a big client environment
* Strong Technical and Functional skills in Oracle R12.
* Experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing modules is preferred
* Minimum 3 years in SQL, PLSQL Programming, BI Publisher, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Workflow and Unix.
* Experience on OAF is preferred
* J2EE, XML, XSL, HTML, JSP, JavaScript, Java skills are preferred
* Capable of managing multiple objectives simultaneously
* Self motivated, requiring minimal direct supervision
* Experience working in a multi-location, global environment
* Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Must be a team player
