POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Sr. Developer (SOA & ADF & ORACLE APPS Technical) will design and develop technical solutions using Oracle Service Oriented Architecture 11g /ADF framework on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g platform to support our current business needs in accordance with established standards. This position will design, code, unit test, implement and support these enterprise application solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong techno functional proficiency in (SCM Areas), application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application. This candidate will be working in a Matrix management environment reporting to both On-site and Off-shore managers.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
SOA
* Design and implement technical solutions and integration using Service Oriented Architecture with an understanding of Oracle Apps Data Model and Order to Cash Process
* Design and Implement web services and business processes using Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, Mediator
* Design and develop XML schemas and XML transformations using XSD and XSLT
* Ensures that all service development complies with Enterprise Standards and adheres to development guidelines
ADF
* Design and implement technical solutions using ADF Framework.
* Design and implement using 11g JDeveloper, ADF, ADF Faces, ADF Task Flow, and ADF Business Components and integrate with Oracle Apps Data model and OTC Process
* Should be able to develop and demonstrate prototypes using Oracle ADF to validate suggested architecture.
Oracle Apps Technical
* Design and develop Technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement & develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows using Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Apps Interfaces/API's.
* Monitor, Debug /Resolve/Fix Production issues and develop enhancements to support the changing business needs.
* Enhance performance in the Applications environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes where needed.
Delivery & Process
* Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
* Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.
* Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise. Reviews code of junior level developers and ensure coding standards are met
* Ensures that all the assigned deliverables are completed on time and with impeccable quality
* Provides timely support in troubleshooting defects and providing resolutions
* Supports production deployment and project go-live tasks
* Actively participate in team meetings and collaborates with other team members to carry out project deliverables.
Oracle Apps SCM Techno Functional Skills-
* Strong Functional Knowledge in Order to Cash Processes & Oracle Distributions (SCM Modules)
* Strong Understanding of Oracle Shipping Execution Processes along with Order Management Processes
* Strong understanding of Shipping Data model and public APIs
* Good understanding of Data model for Order Management and related modules
* Good Understanding of Oracle Inventory Management & Transactions and Processes and Concepts.
* Good understanding of Inventory Data model and public API's
* Good understanding of Procurement / I-Procurement Module and Related Processes and Data model
