Oracle eBusiness R12 Suite Analyst/Developer
Role Summary:
This role specification is for an Analyst/Developer, to join the Oracle Upgrade Program me Team. The technical role will encompass development work across Oracle E-Business Suite and Discoverer
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to Development Lead
* Modify current enhancements on Oracle R11i so that they function with Oracle R12
* Assist with configuration and testing as required.
* Assist with code review and deployment
* Follow IT standards for change control, version control and release control.
Person Profile:
* An individual with strong technical skills
* Strong work ethic.
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team player, flexibility and willingness to develop a broad business and application/system knowledge base.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Competencies:
Mandatory
* Strong technical knowledge of Oracle EBS Release 12 with experience of developing interfaces and customisations in Oracle Financials.
* Demonstrable competency in the following Oracle Financials modules : Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle iExpenses, Oracle Fixed Assets
* Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms and Oracle Workflow Builder
* Familiar with core Oracle HR modules and concepts.
* Familiar with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and OAF personalisation.
* Experienced in use of change management tools and processes and version control
* Experience in development lifecycle
Desirable
* Experience of working in an Oracle Ebs upgrade project - from 11i to R12
* Strong OAF development skills.
* Experience of Hyperion products: HFM and HPCM
* Experience of Microsoft SQL and/or MS SQL Server based applications
Experience in Asset Management Industry
