Technical Skills-DWH, ETL, OBIEE expert
* Strong Fundamentals on technology infrastructure like RDBMS ( Oracle, Sybase, Sql-Server), Unix Platform, Data Virtualizations, Schedulers
* Strong Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modelling concepts
* Expertise in ETL concepts / transformations; Performance Tuning , Reporting Solutions
* Either one of the following reporting tools OBIEE/Spotfire/BO and exposure to one ETL tool.
Good hands on knowledge of Oracle - SQL, PL-SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripts.
Role:
* Reporting Shared Service provides BI & Reporting solutions to both Risk and Prime Collateral & Operations Technology within RBS Markets. This includes support of existing systems, small enhancements to those systems as well as larger-scale investment projects. It also includes providing consulting services for areas contemplating investment in BI.
* This role requires very strong fundamentals on Data Warehouse concepts.
* This role requires understanding of Dimensional Modelling as well as proficiency in at least 1 ETL Tool (preferable OWB/ODI) and one reporting Tool - BO, OBIEE, Spotfire
* This role requires understanding of SDLC as well as various components of the same.
* This role requires extensive collaboration with different stakeholders
* The role reports to a Shared Service Manager / Project Manager.
* Provide input to technical design of new solutions and keep an oversight wrt to key architecture principles of organization and industry.
