Job Description
BCP/DR consultant is expected to assess the business criticality of IT services and provide strategic solutions including process and technology
BCP/DR Consultant need to perform following activities
� Business Impact Assessment
� Identify critical applications through structured business impact assessment. Develop RPO / RTO in discussion with clients
� Understand the BCP/DR controls and perform gap assessments. Identify gaps and develop solutions to close the gaps
� Perform Risk Assessment in context with BCP/DR
� Develop Disaster Recovery Strategy
� Document business impact assessment, risk assessment, business continuity plan
� Develop strategy for DR testing and DR drills
� Validate the IT Infrastructure DR strategy developed by technical architects
� Perform BCM maintenance activities
� Update and improve Business Continuity process and practice
� Identify technology gaps in BCP/DR setup by conducting workshops with various technical teams
Consultant also should demonstrate capability to develop whitepapers, assessment tools, new service offerings apart from conducting webinars and workshops
