Senior Oracle Pl/ SQL Developer - Bangalore - Role Title: Senior Oracle Pl/ SQL Developer Rolepurpose: The senior developer will beresponsible for software development and maintenance for critical syste. components.? Department: IT Location: Bangalore Reports to: General Manager Reported by: Nil(Individual Contributor Role) WorkTimings: 11:00am 8:00 pm (3 days in a week) and 2:00pm 11:00pm (2 days in a week) Experience:Minimum 8 years Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability This candidate must have extensive experience in Oracle PL/?SQL and capable of constructingefficient processes operating on large distributed systems.? A thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle and ability to participate with project teams in the requirementsgathering, design, and development of. complex applications /?programs.? The individual must be able toanalyze/interpret business requirements, functional design specifications andtranslate them into technical solutions.? This candidate will work closely with the development team toensure proper system design and implementation.? The senior developer must be able to anticipate software designand development needs and must have the ability to evaluate the proposedchanges to determine their viability within the overall business solution beingbuilt or enhanced.? This position will be part of a team responsible for thedelivery of. complex mission critical applications. Skilland experience requirements Aminimum of 8 years IT development experience.? A minimum of 6 years extensive and recent hands-on experience with Oracle ?PL/SQL Oracle PL/?SQL 11.?X Conceptualize, design and write. complex SQL queries and PL/?SQL stored procedures Experience in Query Tuning and Performance Optimization of existing PL/SQL packages Experience writing modular and/or reusable code Data modeling & design Experience in the following areas are a major plus Basic Unix. commands and shell scripting Database integration with web technologies MS SQL Server 2012 T-SQL programming Developing financial based solutions Experience in OLTP applications is highly preferred Strong skills in designing quality solutions to stated business problems Problem solving skills including the analysis and resolution of critical system problems Strong written and verbal. communication skills Good knowledge of business principles Self-starter and take the initiative to learn new processes.? Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desire to b. come subject matter expert on supported applications Ability to mentor junior team members Associatedrequirements Establish an environment of learning and growth keeping. organizational values and operating policies in mind. Facilitate and support the delivery of excellent quality product releases Review team membersA implementation to ensure they follow the design and coding guidelines. Work with developers to resolve their technical issues & mentor them. Work with QA to improve test plans. Report work status on technical tasks to program manager. Open
