Senior Software Engineer will be concentrating on understanding the requirement/design specs and converting the same into software code. Along with that guide trainee/software engineers and takes part in peer-to-peer reviews.
Should have ability to unit test the written code and use appropriate guidelines / standards
Should have good analysis or problem solving skills
Should have good communication skills
Should have an ability to work to deadlines]
Must have good knowledge of SDLC
Must have good knowledge of RDBMS
Expert in writing SQL queries or PL/SQL blocks using Analytical functions, nested tables, ANSI joins
Must be strong PL-SQL , Query tuning
Must have knowledge of working on 10g, 11g
Strong knowledge in performance fine tuning using execution Plans, Hints, TKPROF
Lead and facilitate to bring next generation DB solutions like NOSQL / MangoDB
