JOB DESCRIPTION
*Knowledge of software development methodologies and/or Oracle AIM or Oracle Unified Methodology
*Experience in supporting the Oracle Financials ERP application system. Knowledge in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR FA, PA.PO,HR.OTL) to support any production issues .
*Familiarity in Conversion and interfaces of AP, GL, FA, AR.PA, PO and related modules.
*Expertize in understanding the data model of financials modules and experience with configuration and maintenance for core EBS foundational technologies including System admin functions, Application Object Library, Concurrent Manager, creation of custom concurrent programs, API's, etc.
*Experience with Design, development, and testing custom extensions (e.g. packages, functions, procedures, and triggers), and Oracle APIs. Expertise in developing and testing components using Oracle Forms, Reports, Framework, PL/Sql, Unix shell script and XML publisher adhering to IT development methodology and standards.
*Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
*Strong troubleshooting skills
*Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
*Designs and codes new programs and modifies existing ones.
*Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems.
*Design, develop, debugs complex programming logic for existing or new applications plugged in with Oracle applications.
*Develops technical design specifications as per Oracle provided standard for complex systems and collaborates with other team members for optimum design.
*Expertize in resolving production issues on a timely basis and work with the across teams/systems till the closure of the tickets.
*Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented.
* Ensures proper post-implementation support and performance to meet business needs.
*Analyzes user requirements and designs modifications and enhancements to existing systems.
*Communicates with users to obtain information on their needs, programs and systems performance, operating procedures and to clarify program objectives..
*Responsible to provide subject matter expertise support to business users, lead Oracle Application subject area matter and provide efficient & effective result for all Oracle Financial modules.
*Gather and analyze the technical information independently, for designing new process and changes to the existing processes.
*Provide documentations to detail about build logic and testing processes.
*Working with end users and functional analysts to perform unit, system, and regression testing. Able to assist business users for UAT.
*Track, Test and modify customizations and extensions due to rollup, major upgrades.
*Facilitate issues related to performance in standard or custom Oracle application processes
*Familiar of Audit functionality that needs to compliance as per Audit process
*Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
