We are having an urgent position with our client McKinsey & Company (www.mckinsey.com) for Gurgaon location.
Position - Technical Lead/Technical Architect - OBIEE
Skills - OBIEE
Bachelor/Master's degree or higher in computer science or electrical engineering; other discipline and significant relevant experience.
Expert in all layers of OBIEE - data model, business model and presentation layers, ETL process.
Had solid understanding of business intelligence reporting software, especially OBIEE product architecture, features and a flair for the OBIEE engine internals.
Has prior experience architecting and developing solutions on OBIEE over Oracle EBS information sources (Preferably R12)
Has a good breadth of technical knowledge (complementing and otherwise) - such as Oracle database development, Java, Java scripting, ODI, Business Objects, Informatica, middleware software, open source tools, etc
Can lead discussions with the infrastructure and database teams on sizing, scalability, maximum availability setups and optimal performance system requirements. Experience with large and complex data systems.
Engages with multiple upstream/downstream teams and be able to analyze challenges/issues, prioritize, troubleshoot and spear headarchitecture/design discussions.
Analyzes information and reporting requirements for complex inter-connected systems ground up, with a view to maximize user experience through well designed solutions.
Articulates effectively dashboard designs, data diagrams, logic charts, visualizing techniques to both technical and non-technical audience.
Develops top notch data model designs, datawarehouse schemas.
Is hands on with deep expertise in OBIEE reporting (Dashboard reports, interactive reports, enterprise reports, using OBIEE Analysis compatible with various browsers and mobile devices, etc.),Oracle Sql, PLSQL, Oracle EBS interfacing. Can review and correct code, come up with standards and incorporate industry best practices.
Has experience configuring OBIEE/OBIA security (Authentication and Authorization - Object level and Data level security)
Ability to quickly understand and critique existing legacy systems and present convincing change/improvement proposals with a holistic approach - impact analysis, regression, etc.
Capability to develop full stack applications end to end using best practices and tools in testing, deployment and scaling.
Good experience in version control systems, preferably Git
You swear by Agile development practices such as automated unit testing, continuous integration and deployment and extreme programming
