Job Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer who works independently or under only general direction on complex problems which require competence in all phases of programming concepts and practices. Working from diagrams and charts which identify the nature of desired results, processing steps to be accomplished and the relationships between various steps of the problem-solving routine; plans the full range of programming actions needed to efficiently utilize the computer system in achieving desired end products. Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement distributed applications as part of a systems development team. Provide feedback on and adhere to delivery dates. Provide end-user support as a technical expert. Analyze, design, develop and test Oracle PL/SQL applications that enhance customer's operations through the dissemination of pertinent and relevant information in a timely and efficient manner.
Experience/Needs - 8 Years of Strong experience in Oracle 12c
- Strong Oracle DB performance tuning expertise.
- Firm understanding of the overall architecture required to support common schema based objects used to store data and implement business logic.
- Ability to code in Oracle PL/SQL including standalone SQL scripting and database stored code (triggers, packages, procedures, and functions) in compliance with standards and procedures
- Strong Analytical/Problem Skills
- Exposure to Supply Chain domains
Job Responsibilities: - The Oracle PLSQL Developer will be a part of team that primarily supports Oracle relational databases and Oracle PLSQL development.
- The developer will design implement, code, test and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code and functionality. The person will prepare and review system documentation composed by development teams.
- You will perform modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. Develops effective and efficient Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers and functions according to design specifications.
- Applies best practice for tuning for overall system performance.
- Supports development teams with database object creation, Oracle PL/SQL, procedures, triggers, etc.
- Supports software development and test teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Includes incremental script execution and defect resolution. Implements custom software releases
Note: Candidate should have excellent communication skills and no career gap more than 4yrs.
