Role Summary/Purpose
Oracle EBS Functional Solution Analyst. This role is responsible for solutions in AP Oracle ERP R12 Solution/Functional architecture, design and solution governance in Procure to Pay business process areas while partnering with process leads, Technical, P&L teams and vendors.
Essential Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our ERP Solutions and Services team working on a highly visible Oracle Procure to Pay (Enterprise standards, AP Excellence Process and Sourcing) implementation projects across GE Business.
⢠Good knowledge in various Procure to pay business processes with experience of configurations in Oracle EBS R12 applications.
⢠Expected to work in matrix organization to drive the requirements to implement world-class client-centric standardized solutions
⢠Designs solutions for specific use cases that provide frameworks, interfaces and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements while supporting Testing automation.
⢠Functional understanding of Oracle Requisitions, Order Management, Purchase Orders, pricing, quoting and contracts capabilities and business processes
⢠Acts as Procure to Pay SME providing suggestions, feedback on various products, applications, business solutions to Solution delivery group, PMO Office and/or other departments at any level
⢠Help GDC / Vendor teams prepare & document conceptual architecture thru providing the rationale for architectural and functional decisions
⢠Responsible for life-cycle documentation adherence to standards and quality of solutions through effective test and quality management practices
⢠Contribute to the operations procedures library and project lifecycle documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
⢠Bachelorâs degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA or an equivalent degree. Ideal candidate will also be a Certified Chartered Accountant /ICWA/ CPA and/or equivalent Certifications.
⢠8-14years of Functional / Solution design & delivery experience, preferably across several different large corporations and companies. Exposure to Industrial businesses such Transportation, Healthcare, Aviation, Power, Energy a big plus.
⢠Exposure and minimum experience in agile methodology, and SoX
Desired Characteristics
⢠Demonstrated in-depth Functional knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) with at least one end to end Implementation.
⢠Ability to build multi-faceted relationships and drive solutions to support across cross-functional project teams
⢠Experience in Oracle ERP Functional design, development, implementation and maintenance of EBS customizations, extensions, modifications, localizations & integrations (aka CEMLI or RICE components)
⢠Experience leveraging continuous delivery practices to bring value to the business
⢠Strong interpersonal, Functional and technology leadership skills
⢠Drives toward global processes and automation- identifying business and technical alternatives to solve problems
⢠Strong team player â" collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
