Below is the JD: Detailed knowledge, understanding and experience of Oracle eBusiness R12 including; - Purchasing - Inventory - Order Management - iProcurement -and Finance Module . XML transactions Skills - Useful Knowledge of other SCM modules (EAM, Supplier Hub, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Sourcing, Contracts) Functional knowledge of other eBusiness Suite modules (Finance, HR & Payroll, Projects, CRM) Knowledge and experience of Oracle Reporting products (OBIEE / OBIA) and there use with Oracle eBusiness Suite Demonstrate an understanding of the Procurement Data Scheme, Need to provide solutions to end customer. Checking the impact of the solution. Primary owner for issues , new enhancement and support activities .Act as the front line, first port of call for all EBS related support desk incidents. Work to resolve these issues reassigning to other team members where appropriate Act as the single point-of-contact for the EBS host provider (currently Oracle On Demand) and hold weekly support meetings to ensure both sides are fully informed of current issues and future developments Understand PPL’s system architecture and technology stack (Database, Public Middle Tier set up, Application add-ons etc...) Undertake detailed patching and upgrade analysis (incorporating application, process, function, data and organisation) and possible systems issues related to those upgrades Schedule patches, upgrades and code release in line with business priorities and the team work load throughput Participate in structured evaluations of packaged software and suppliers Design & implement cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements in areas of skills expertise, taking account of non-functional requirements e.g. performance, server resource utilisation, disk usage etc Resolve user application support questions and issues in accordance with service levels (where applicable) Have an extremely high-level of knowledge of PPL’s CEMLI solutions with respect to Oracle’s out-of-the box functionality Undertake analysis of “estimate to fix†timescales for user issues Perform application configuration and administration Produce clear and concise documentation of support deliverables Preparation of training material Preparation of user and systems procedures Conversion planning and execution
