Job Title: BI Reporting and Analytics Manager

Summary:
The Manager, BI Reporting and Analytics manages analytic initiatives from conception to completion, providing clients and key stakeholders actionable results and insights that help them achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key phases of the project; from project kick-off to presentation of results
• Assist in the development of project requirements, analytic plans, SOWs, project timelines, and other related materials for the management of deliverables
• Accountable for the overall management of analytic projects; including timeliness, quality, and client value
• Collaborate with leadership to devise strategic direction, and conduct analysis by qualitatively and/or quantitatively analyzing data/information
• Manage and mentor a team of BI analyst/developers/Digital analysts, who would be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage data logistics, including data transfers, understanding data structures & business rules, BI Solutioning to enable project execution ,gathering measurement requirements and supporting tag implementation for web and mobile capabilities, Reporting and Analysis for web and mobile capabilities.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects
• Prioritize and monitor project progress against goals; tracking budgeted hours
• Create compelling presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics)
• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/ Database design and warehousing
• Proficient in SAS and/or SQL
• Strong analytic thought process and ability to synthesize and interpret findings
• Acute attention to detail (QA/QC)
• Team player with the ability to mentor and manage junior resources, a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience
• Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good at developing relationships across cross-functional teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
Technical skills- Essential/ Desirable
• Excellent knowledge of relational database technologies with experience on databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Microsoft T-SQL experience experience is mandatory
• Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica / Datastage / AbInitio), Data Warehousing skills desirable
• Experience with file processing/transfers would also be helpful
• Should have experience in designing and architecting large scale distributed applications and data modelling for Big Data applications
• Must be familiar with one scripting language - Unix Scripting, Perl scripting
• DB Architecture, Data Modelling, Database Design mandatory
• Must have experience on DB/Performance Tuning
• 2+ years of experience with Digital Analytics Platforms (preferably Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) specifically with implementation and methodologies around analytics tagging for web and mobile app capabilities
Desirable Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
• Travel 5%-10%
• Ability to program in newer and emerging languages such as R and Python; working knowledge of Hadoop and other big data technologies
• Experience with Tag Management Systems in Adobe and Testing platforms/personalization engines desirable
• Experience on Amazon Redshift, IBM NetEzza experience would be preferred
