Job Description:
Advanced to expert level experience with the Oracle R12 EBS technical stack, particularly Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and database object modeling.
Participate in all technical phases of software development life cycle including analysis and development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing and deployment.
Participate in peer design and code reviews.
Should be an expert in understanding business requirements; transform that into functional design documents (MD50) and Technical design documents (MD70).
Senior level technical design, development, and testing of Oracle R12 EBS extensions, interfaces and reports
SQL performance tuning, good understanding of INV/OM Oracle base table structures
Participate in peer design and code reviews
Minimum 10 years of technical implementation experience in Oracle R12 eBS suite
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical.
Familiarity with Agile processes is a major plus
Must be able to work independently with limited general supervision.
A strong desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
Knows Oracle architecture
Experience in Database design (focused around- normalization, Snapshot usage, Index optimization, explain plan, database interactions, System & inbuilt packages)
Expert in PL/SQL development for Oracle high demand OLTP/reporting applications.
Significant experience with Oracles PL/SQL packages (DBMS_*, UTL_*)
Extensive experience with Data Transfers/Sharing using Flat Files, DB Links, Web Services
Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a fast-paced, production environment
Query performance tuning
Strong performance tuning capabilities
Strong Data Analysis skills
Excellent problem-solving skills, a self-starting attitude and good communication skills
