ODI Expert
We need 4-5 ODI consultants â€" hands on role 8+ years â€" for data integrations (not warehousing ETL/ELT) work. Any location.
Designation Principal or Senior (depending on experience)
Job Description 1. As a Technical Consultant, you will be working on both offshore and onsite client projects.
2. You will be working in projects which will involve Oracle Data Integrator Implementation
3. You will be Interacting with client to understand and gather requirement
1. You will be responsible for technical design, development, and system/integration testing using oracle methodologies
Desired Profile 2. Oracle SSI looking for DA (Design Architect/Authority) at an Subject Matter Expert that is capable to define, document, validate and review the appliance of best practices in the usage of the ODI ETL tool in the project.
3. The person of course needs a right understanding of the general DWH and BI concepts and more in particular the modeling techniques as introduced by Ralph Kimball (the reference for DWH besides Inmon).
4. More important is a large experience with ODI and the capability to translate the BI Apps on top of ODI particularities in the used best practices for the full project.
5. The person should also have enough knowledge to cover the sizing needs during the execution of the ETL load plans in the data warehouse. He also should know the handles to use when fine tuning or enhancing performance of the ETL jobs is required. Finally he must be able to address the security part of the execution of the ETL.
6. The capability to interact with the BI Apps experts and the BI EE experts on the project is a key for a smooth introduction of our preferred architecture of the combined BI Apps / ODI implementation. Our candidate must be capable to fulfill this need as well with an open mind and good communication skills.
Experience 1. 8+-15+ yrs of Data warehousing and Business Intelligence project experience
2. Having 4-5+ years of project experience on ODI with at least 3-4 complete lifecycle implementations
