- Job Description Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax).
- Experience on Tax module is must.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders and translate needs into functional specifications.
- Design and configure finance business processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Develop functional designs, test scripts, and provide support for SIT/UAT cycles.
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
- 8+ years experience as an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional knowledge across GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Taxation.
- Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial controls.
- Ability to create functional documentation, BR100s, MD50s, test scripts, and process flows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Functional Expertise - Configure financial modules including CoA, Subledger Accounting, Tax rules, Payment processing, Receivables setups, Asset books, and Cash Management setups.
- Support accounting and tax-related functionalities including statutory reporting, tax rules setup, and localization requirements.
- Manage period-end and year-end activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
Business Support and Enhancements - Handle day-to-day functional support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements or customizations.
- Assist business users in process improvements, automation opportunities, and adoption of newly released Oracle features.
- Prepare user guides, SOPs, and deliver end-user training.
