Designation : Global Compliance Systems - Business Analyst
Job Description * The Global Compliance Systems team at Stryker is responsible for maintaining the operations of the Global Compliance Systems as well as projects affecting the ACE, Transparency SST and Compliance Wire systems, not limited to changes, updates, customizations, and integrations. The Business Analyst on the team is responsible for the elicitation, documentation, harmonization, and organization of requirements and logical designs for systems integrations performed by Global Compliance Teams.
Key responsibilities:
* Support the architecture design and delivery of system platforms for application integration.
* Provide IT operational support for logistic and Supply Chain project post go-live owning the IT interactions.
* Elicit system-integration specific requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis and use these requirements to contribute to system design.
* Drive and challenge system owners on their assumptions on system integration and collaborate on making integration processes more effective.
* Work closely with IT Quality on integration specific testing processes
* Organize and maintain the structure of the required documentation across a large number of system integration projects and activities.
* Transform general or rough business ideas into detailed functional requirements that can be understood by the system developers.
* Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies.
Qualifications/Work Experience * Bachelors Degree Required Computer Science/Computer Information Systems
* 4+ years" experience implementing application integration projects and initiatives.
* Knowledge from a technical perspective including architecture, modules, and high level development knowledge.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to translate customer needs into operational requirements.
* Experience building requirements, detailed specifications, and testing plans and strategies in a system integration environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships required.
* Ability to travel (estimated 10 - 20% ).
