Experience Range: 6-10 years
Role:Sr Functional Consultant
Joining Location: Hyderabad,Bangalore,Mumbai
Desired skills & experience
. Total experience of 6 10 yrs with minimum 4 - 5 yrs relevant experience in Oracle Applications financials/Project Accounting (Financials - AR, AP, GL, FA, CM and Project Accounting -Project billing, Project costing)
. At least 1 end-to-end project implementation experience and knowledge of integrated Oracle end-to-end business process
. Experience working with R12 is a must
. Good Verbal & Written communication Skills
. Sound functional and business process conceptual skills
. Perseverance and positive attitude to put in extended hours of work, when required
. Team worker
. Documentation & Presentation capabilities
Role and Responsibilities
Cross functional ability (Financials consultant having perspective of SCM and a broad understanding technical aspects like API's, table structures etc.)
Ability to absorb and assimilate diverse domain parameters and relate them to the solution on hand
Appreciation of IT knowledge and relate them to context in solution presentation instances
Ability to work to plan and meet timelines; Should be responsive
Implement functional solution for a specific area - financials, SCM etc., considering the product depth and relevance to the client processes
Identify requirements and convert them into solution design
Facilitate design/solution work shops
. Deploy appropriate functionality for effective solution based on the business process design
Maintain continuous updation of knowledge on product functionality, new features, related modules etc., on a pro-active basis
Plan schedule and achieve them given the relevant/ required operating environment and interfaces with other modules
Interact with relevant contacts - Oracle Support, client business team, internal consultants, etc., as Deloitte representative and ensure implementing an optimal solution
Perform the necessary steps as required on a client engagement which may include requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, instance configuration, business process testing, support, documentation etc.
Interact with the client, lead consultants, managers and senior managers for project status reporting etc
