Position : Lead - Component Engineer

JD :
* 5+ years" experience in Component Engineering or R&D in Medical Equipment or Devices related
* Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/ technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites
* Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
* Knowledge to use CAD tools ( Solid works, CATIA,PRO-E, Unigraphics, Auto Cad )
* Ability to read, analyse and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and Willingness to take new assignments.
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Flexibility in work timings
* Provide technical support to internal Design Centers and market segments as needed to resolve manufacturing problems of moderate scope related to component performance, component handling requirement & process, or internal/customer issues.
* Maintain component data management system including qualification records/results/documentation.
* Develop written specifications, performance requirements and quality inspection criteria.
* Provide customers with materials procurement and engineering support to meet their lead free and environmental compliance requirements.
* Work with development community and manufacturing teams to ensure that components are compatible with lead-free manufacturing processes.
* Apply corporate sourcing procedures and processes.
