We are looking for Sr. Business Analyst profile for Bangalore location
Job Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will:
• Design clinical data, reporting, applications to support Enterprise Data Warehouse environment as per the business expectation
• Possess knowledge of the system development lifecycle.
• Be a “go to†subject matter expert for Quintiles’ clinical data, reporting.
• Requirement analysis with business stakeholders thru brainstorming sessions and maintaining the high quality, high clarity requirements.
• Maintain the balance between business requirements and technical requirements and communicate the clear requirements to all other internal teams like architectural team, development team, testing team.
• Perform the UAT with business stakeholders and provide the complete support
• Organizing, collecting and analyzing the source data and the data held in the DW platform, should be able to take ownership of data quality controls to ensure consistent and quality data is maintained and delivered from the platforms.
• Develop, test, and document systems in accordance with SOPs, standards and validation procedures.
• Plan and coordinate peer review of work products such as requirements, designs, and test plans produced by other team members.
• Interact with business and project team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Meets personal and professional milestones as assigned, and interacts with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• A motivated self-starter and technical leader with a track record of producing positive results.
• Expert knowledge and hands on experience in Business Analysis
• Expert knowledge and hands on experience in Data Analysis and Integration
• Ability to convert the Business Requirements to Data Requirements
• Prefer experience in a Healthcare or Life science domain/platform
• Strong SQL writing skills with strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Must have strong Communication skills, Analytical skills and Presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of documentation process, procedures and controls.
• Possess very good knowledge of requirement elicitation, documentation & traceability
• Possess expert knowledge in software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
Good to have:
1. Experience in database tools, PL/SQL
2. Understanding of conceptual, logical and Physical data modeling
3. Healthcare/Life science Experience added advantage.
4. Knowledge on ETL and Reporting tool(s).
