We are looking for SCM operations and support experience. Please find the JD below:
Experience: 7+ years
Work Location: Doha Qatar
Minimum of five years in SCM operations and support in public sector.
Consultants with solid experience in Supply Chain Management including inventory, purchase, sourcing and contract management operational experience.
The consultants are expected to have a basic understanding of Oracle ERP.
• Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory from end user demand to supply.
• Develop procurement and inventory management plans to support national level projects and occasional events.
• Identify current and potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery, advice interested parties such as item owners, end users, of status and recovery plans.
• Monitor items in Inventory planning - Consumption vs. On hand quantities and procure accordingly to maintain nominal stock, balancing the space consumed in Central warehouse (CWH) and item expiry dates.
• Identifying and defining stocking policy based on Vital, Essential and Non-Essential (VEN) classifications.
• Monitor, calculate and update min max for items based on trend analysis for all individual health centers and CWH.
• Follow up with Logistics stake holder and suppliers for inbound orders for medical consumables.
• Monitor daily transactions are in line with the agreed policies.
• Obtain clarifications from end users and highlight to the concerned managers if abnormal consumptions are found.
• Maintain tracking sheets for stock out items and initiate temporary resolution and permanent solution. Conduct a root cause analysis where necessary.
• Monitor the stock out items until the issue is permanently resolved.
• Coordinate with store keepers on a daily basis to understand the requirements and advice item movements to avoid bottle necks and stock outs.
• Updating of VEN classification and stocking policy as and when required inline to PHCC policies and procedures.
