In this team, we are looking for an Application Support Specialist
Mission:
⢠Investigate and understand requests from front office support teams facing Schneider electric Customers worldwide.
⢠Reproduce, Analyze and validate the problems and be able to identify the scope and category: global versus local, software versus data, lack of knowledge from users, etc
⢠Provide immediate fix which could be a work around, a temporary fix or a final solution to the customer.
⢠Liaison with Engineering, infrastructure and Backend teams to work on permanent solutions to customer issues when required.
⢠Follow up SLA (service level) for cases in scope
⢠Build a Knowledge base for software under responsibility and publish FAQ,whitepapers, etc.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology

At least 8 years of experience spanning L3 expert support of web applications, software development ...

Required Skills
⢠Exposure to Dot NET, JAVA, XML and mobile platforms (Android and IOS) will be appreciated.
⢠Good functional understanding and working knowledge of Web applications and Mobile applications
⢠Good knowledge of 3 tier architecture (REST API)
⢠Understanding of Networking Concepts.
⢠Linux/Solaris for basic Administration tasks.
⢠Exposure to web monitoring tools like Dynatrace - Gomez, SmartBear etc
Good to have:
⢠Exposed to product selection, configuration or other customer software
engineering tools.
⢠Has understanding of IT environments, Cloud infrastructure, etc.
⢠Basic domain knowledge of Electrical networks - Distribution and applications.
⢠Basic knowledge of Schneider Electric Products.
