As a Business Analyst you will work closely with Product Managers to define functional product requirements and partner with software and quality engineering to determine how best to incorporate and deliver these requirements into the product.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree is required.
2. 3-6 years work experience as a Business Analyst or a Systems Analyst.
3. Experience with complex business software for non-technical users.
4. Experience with requirements management and establishing solutions.
5. Excellent written & oral communications skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information.
7. Team player with strong negotiation & diplomacy skills.
8. Experience with Software as a Service delivery model.
9. Experience with HRIS Systems a plus.
10. Experience with Visio or other flow-chart tool a plus.
11. Experience with HTML editors like Dreamweaver a plus.
Responsibilities :
1. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
2. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
3. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
4. Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
5. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
6. Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
7. Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
8. Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
10. Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
11. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
12. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
13. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
