Job Description:- Location: Bangalore, India (No exceptions) Experience Range: Must have 5-8 years of direct/relevant experience to Oracle Financials Certifications: Industry Certifications (Oracle Expert, PMI etc) a plus Qualifications: * Master / Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or any related degree. * Techno Functional experience in implementation, customization, upgrade and support experience on Oracle Applications 11i Procure to Pay modules. * Technical expertise in various software and expert in Oracle technologies viz. Oracle Forms 6i, Reports 6i, Oracle 8i & 9i, Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, Discoverer Administrator, Discoverer Desktop, PL/SQL, SQL, Approval Management Engine (AME), Unix shell script, * Implementation experience on worked on General Ledger (GL), Payables (AP), iProcurement, Purchasing (PO), Fixed Assets (FA), Oracle Alerts (ALR) modules. * Good understanding of Oracle applications development (i.e. defining concurrent programs, request sets, custom .pll, custom forms and reports) . * Experience with performance analysis and tuning. * Excellent communications skills required. Strong team skills as well as the ability to work independently. * Must be a versatile and experienced Oracle Financials System Analyst/Developer with a proven ability to deliver projects successfully under tight deadlines. * Exposure to end-to-end (SDLC) project management including gathering user/business requirements, data acquisition development, data modeling, system development, integration testing including development of test cases, system implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance will be a plus. Job Description/Responsibilities This person will be a member of the IT & MIS team supporting Marvell's Global implementation of the Oracle 11i Finance system. This is a state of the art implementation that uses many of the advanced features of the application suite, such as multiple currencies, multiple languages, multiple sets of books, multiple organizations, multiple business units. Below is the job description: - INDIA LOCALIZATION Experience is a Must. - Gathering requirement from the customers and producing requirement document - Manage complete life cycle for most complex or high-risk components. - Analyze functional design/overall application technical design and develops detailed module technical application for complex components. - Identifies opportunities for improving software by partnering with customers; evaluates new and existing software products. - Demonstrate expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications by assisting team members in overall application technical design activities. Code complex application components based on functional requirements. - Should work independently in setting up financial modules from functional side - Conducting CRP, UAT, Unit Test Document and traceability Matrix, Test cases for user testing. - This position will be supporting global implementations of Oracle Financials and will require flexibility in working hours to cover India, Europe and US. Some international travel (less than 20%) required.
