JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Sr. Programmer Analyst / Sr. Oracle Apps Technical Consultant
Location: Hyderabad, OSC
Working Hours: Shifts are: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST or 4:30 PM to 01:30 AM IST
I. Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities
The position is to implement Oracle Apps (R12) and support the end-users, business and development teams through the application Technical knowledge of the E-Business Suite for Order to Cash, Acquire to Retire and Procure to Pay processes. This individual will be a key member in R12 Global Rollout project. This individual will combine Oracle expertise with proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to support the development process and ongoing business functions.
II. Basic Qualifications (the examples are offered only as illustrations, basic qualifications must be tailored to the job)
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Master"s Degree in Computer Sciences with Business courses
Experience
* Minimum 5 years" experience in Oracle 11i/R12
* Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle Open Interfaces and Oracle API's, SQL plus
* Experience in Oracle AIM
* Subject matter expert and strong Technical knowledge is very important
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
* Good knowledge and hands-on experience with various diagnostic methods to solve issues or problems
* Experience supporting global corporations is a plus (multi-currency and language environments)
* Experience in at least One E2E implementation of Oracle Applications in R12
* Oracle Application development tools like PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, APEX, Workflows, JDeveloper and Oracle database R12
Other Requirements
* Ability to adapt to new systems/applications
* Strong supply chain management background is essential.
* Must have the ability to work independently and as a team player.
* Should be Proactive and have analytical thinking abilities.
* Excellent communication skill

Education or Experience
* Master"s Degree in Business and a Bachelors in Computer Sciences
* Minimum 3+ years" experience working directly with the business users.

* Superior Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data
* Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills

* This individual is responsible for being a key business liaison in their designated module(s) / area of focus
* Adept at determining requirements by interviewing business users, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions
* Perform Technical tests to ensure configuration meets the Business requirements
* Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and methods and able to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements
* Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrades and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting Technical issues
* Meet with business analysts and business owners on new functionality requests and production issues and develop Technical specifications based on AIM Methodology
* Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks
* Ability to think logically in solving problems and to present recommendations in a clear and concise form as part of the ongoing Customer Support
