Role Summary/Purpose
This role is responsible for providing expertise, strategic direction in design, development & deployment of Oracle ERP R12. The person will be Key delivery expert for a GE Appliance ERP+ Project in area of Project Accounting/Costing/Billing. In this role he/she working with business, GDC & internal team will implement business solutions for particular finance modules or suite of modules.
Essential Responsibilities
* Provide Solution leadership for design, development & deployment of Oracle ERP R12 in space of Finance (FIN) - Project Accounting/Costing/Billing and other finance modules..
* Responsible for End to End solutions for module/suite, prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, documentation and post go-live support.
* Should question the status co and support the organization goal of business transformation by providing expertise to re-engineer business processes, utilize standard & new oracle modules and more importantly by avoiding customizations.
* Provide oversight, coordination, and business domain expertise in all business areas (process, technology, quality, and interfaces).
* Should be able to translate strategies into specific goals and objectives. Proactively monitor business needs and translate into technology application opportunities;
* Continuously Monitor Solutions and Business Trends to incorporate relevant technology trends within the business;
* Drives workload balancing and optimum project team size & arrives at effective GDC utilization strategy.
* Prepare, own, monitor and drive project plan/s to meet agreed timelines, budget and quality standards.
* Determine & monitor critical path, Anticipate risks and deviations from plan, Analyze them, Come up with corrective actions and Keep the team and stakeholders informed.
* Customer & Stakeholder Management - Builds strong relationships with key customers & stakeholders to anticipate changes Anticipates events that could impact deliverables and manages around them, Creates processes with customer viewpoint and impact in mind Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for those processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Total 8+ plus years of experience with min 4+ years of experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Applications. With min of 3 end-to-end implementations.
* Thorough Oracle functional knowledge of Oracle Apps modules Finance Domain and especially in Project Accounting/Costing/Billing modules.
* Sound knowledge of integrated suites with End-to-End Flows
* Strong functional domain knowledge.
* Good written and verbal communications skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
* Self-starter, organized, and motivated.
* Any Post Graduate
* Knowledge of Project Management tools e.g. MS Projects etc. and methodologies e.g. Oracle AIM & CCPM.
* Ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate across geographic, organizational, and technological boundaries
* Demonstrated Project execution skills.
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with global partners, suppliers, customers, clients.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
